The Ed & Jimmy Xmas Show Hits TownThe Titans Xmas training camp held at Ellesmere 12th-15th Dec was attended and coached by 200m fly swimmers James Faure & Ed Castro.
Both James & Ed swim for the Titans as their ranked club but now train at the ITC in Bath. Their 200m fly Long Course PBs are 2:00.37 and 2:01.33 respectively. [cont...] |
Hector Smashes British Record10 year old Titan – Hector Pardoe – was back on form at the recent Northampton SC Level 1 Open meet - smashing his existing all time UK No 1 ranking record and becoming the first 10 year old in Britain to qualify in any event for next year's National Age Group Championships.
The meet which was held over the weekend of 16th-18th Dec at the East Midlands International Pool in Corby was attended by swimmers from all over the UK including 50m backstroke world record holder Liam Tancock and double Commonwealth gold medallist Ross Davenport. [cont...] |

Ellesmere College Titan, Llawen Rossell-Smith age 14, recently returned from Switzerland, where she represented Swim Wales at the Del Castello Swimming Meet in Bellinzona.

On Easter Sunday at the Ponds Forge International Pool, Sheffield, Hector Pardoe, age 10, of Ellesmere College Titans, smashed the all time 10/u British 1500m Freestyle Long Course record in a time of 19:17.94.
Despite only having turned 10 a few weeks ago, Hector took nearly 10 seconds off the previous record of 19:27.73, which had been set back in 2009. This record adds to the 800m and 400m Freestyle and 200m Backstroke Long Course British Age Group Ranking records that Hector has previously set in the 9/u age category.
