Alfie Ranked No 1 in UK

Following successful competitive swims at the Ponds Forge International Pool in Sheffield on the 18th October and at Wolverhampton Central Baths on the 25th &  26th October Alfie Pardoe, aged 10, is now ranked No 1 in the UK in his age group in both the 25m short course and 50m long course events.

Winning the 10/u boys gold medals at both events in respective times of 2:46.10 and 2:46.21 secured him the top ranked positions.

Alfie is also ranked in the top ten in the 200m breaststroke; 200m Individual Medley; 100m backstroke; and 400m Individual Medleys.

In total Ellesmere College Titans Swimming Club has five swimmers with top 50 UK rankings in at least one event. Aside from Alfie the other swimmers are Elliot Hughes (aged 11), James Wilson (aged 11), Natalie Greene (aged 9) and Isobel Mellings (aged 9).
