Swimming Academy Day Saturday 30th January 2010

Ellesmere College is offering scholarship awards worth up to £150,000 over 10 years to talented young swimmers.

Talented swimmers throughout the UK are being invited to attend a swimming Academy Day on Saturday 30th January at Ellesmere College where they will get to meet the coaches and see for themselves the facilities on offer. For the forthcoming academic year scholarships of up to 50% of school fees are available based on swimming talent with the potential for a further 50% being available on a means-tested basis.

Head Coach Jon Pardoe says “The Ellesmere College swimming programme is all about helping to develop and foster the best environment in which talent can thrive. Not only does Ellesmere College have a long track record of sporting achievements but it now boasts some of the best young swimmers in the region. Excellent pool and dry land training facilities coupled with a first class coaching set up provide a virtually unrivalled Age Group opportunity.”
