It’s Official - Titans No 1 in Shropshire

On the ASA rankings database, Ellesmere College Titan swimmers have amassed a magnificent total of 190 all time Shropshire County Long Course Age Group records. This is more than all the other clubs in Shropshire put together.

In some events such as the 200m backstroke Titan swimmers virtually monopolise proceedings holding 19 out of the 22 possible Long Course Age Group records; whilst in the 200m Individual Medley 18 of the 22 Long Course Age Group records are held by Titan swimmers.

Commenting upon this achievement Titan head coach Jon Pardoe commented “The Titans programme has never been about quantity but rather the quality of swimmers. Considering we only started the programme three years ago this is an incredible achievement”.

The ASA rankings database comprises of nearly 2 million recorded times in the UK since 1997.
