Arena League Round 2

arena leagueThe Titans returned from round 2 of the National Arena Premier League reflecting on “what could have been”. Finishing the gala in 5th place on 190 points left them in the overall league table in 10th position - just two places off reaching the final.

At the 2nd round gala, which was held in Blackpool on Saturday 12th November, the Titans finished above Pioneer 79, City of Carlisle and Ulverston but behind City of Salford, Stockport Metro, Warriors of Warrington and Southport.

Titans head coach Jon Pardoe said “this must be the first time in the history of the Arena Premier League that a squad of just 32 swimmers has taken on the might of such big City clubs. I’m very proud of our achievements in what has been our first season in the Premier League and this success is even more remarkable considering the number of crucial swimmers absent due either to illness or commitments at the British University Swimming Championships

In total Titan swimmers smashed 19 Personal Best times and 10 Club Records.
